Project Director
Jeannette McDonald, DVM, PhD, is the Director of the Technology for Learning Center at the UW School of Veterinary Medicine and was is the director of the NEAT project. Her background and passion is distance education, primarily online. She provided administrative oversight and coordination of partner efforts, addressing issues central to the project, such as issues of copyright and ownership, evaluation, quality control, commercialization and marketing of products, as well as other sources of continued funding. Recently she was the director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded Partnerships for Training, WisTREC program that facilitated the production of distance degree programs in Wisconsin for nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician assistants. When not online, Jeannette enjoys reading, biking, kayaking, camping, and traveling with her husband and three daughters.

Program Manager
Peg Volkmann, MA, assisted with the day-to-day administrative tasks and formative and summative evaluations and reports. She worked closely with faculty and graphic artist to design engaging learning objects. Before joining us, Peg was instrumental in obtaining funding, creating the infrastructure, and providing faculty and student support for the distance degree program at the UW Madison Physician Assistant Program. Peg has a degree in library science and has also worked in health science libraries, career advising and addiction research. Peg enjoys reading and discussing books, camping at Rock Island State Park, and traveling with her husband, Jack, to visit five sons in four states.

Web and Graphics Designer
Eileen Horn worked closely with Peg Volkmann to create content-related graphics and animations for high quality, ADA-compliant learning objects and case studies in an efficient, productive manner. She is also the technical coordinator and liaison for the repositories and the content experts. A theater major in college, in her free time Eileen works in local theater companies as both actor and director. She also has a growing menagerie on her hobby farmette and travels whenever she gets the opportunity. She and her husband, Patrick are thoroughly enjoying their new son Michelangelo.

Media Specialist
C.K. Worrell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UW-Madison. He applied his knowledge of new media technologies and graphic design to create learning objects that are rich, imaginative and functional. In addition to designing learning objects, C.K. applies his many talents to researching content, interacting with faculty content experts, web site design, producing eye-catching print materials and acting as a resource for ADA compliance issues. When C.K. is not at work he is honing his artistic skills drawing, sculpting and competing in art festivals.
